Welcome 歡迎 to the United States, California, Los Angeles, and the Department of Neurosurgery of the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California. Objectives 目標: USC Neurosurgery offers a neurosurgical education program to Chinese colleagues who join our Service for 3-12 months observing and participating in rounds, surgery, and clinic. Bilingual neurosurgical education is done in the ICU, OR,Emergency, and academic conference rooms. Syllabus 教學大綱 English 英語: Fellows will have formal and informal English improvement opportunities. Conversation 交談 Weekly conversation classes in English discussing neurosurgery topics. Vocabulary 詞匯: Flashcard drill sessions. Clinic 診所, Los Angeles County Hospital 洛杉磯 Two afternoons weekly. General neurosurgery. Rounds 查房: Intensive Care Unit 重症監護病房. Daily bedside rounds (2 hours) in Chinese and English. Surgery 手術 Research 研究 Conference 會議: Morbidity & Mortality 發病和死亡, Trauma 創傷 Evaluation 評價: Letter from Program Director describing fellow's experience and accomplishments. Certificate 證書: A certificate with the USC Keck seal verifying completion of the Education Exchange program.
